A photo ID and valid credit card is required at the time of check in.

Onsite you will find blower dryer, Keurig and regular coffee maker, ice maker,  full size stove, refrigerator, and microwave,  kitchenware, crockpot,  electric fireplace, bottled water, and some  basic toiletries.  There is a queen sized bed and a pull out couch to accommodate up to four people.  The heating and cooling is via a ductless mini-split system.  The water supply is via an onsite well.  

Bigg's Barn is a pet friendly facility with pre-approval at the time of booking.  Our neighborhood has pets that are outside, please refrain from allowing dogs from running unattended or uncontrolled.    Please do not allow your pet to be on the furniture as this may create additional cleaning and damage that could warrant additional charges, we ask that you bring throws or sheets to cover the furniture.    Pets can become anxious and act out when in a foreign space and their owners are not present so we ask that you kennel your pet anytime you leave your pet unattended.  We also ask that you bring floor pads if your pet is prone to an occasional "accident" indoors.  A litter box is required for cats. 

Be aware there are neighbors, including the owners, so when outside please respect the peace and privacy of others.   While we welcome friends and family sharing your time and the space, we must request that only registered guests and vehicles be onsite after 11:00pm.  As registered guests, you are responsible for the actions of all those you permit to visit the site.   

The living room, kitchen, and bedroom are all in the same space with a divider wall to the bedroom area. The bathroom is located just outside this space in a hall that leads to the multi-use room, a total of around 700 square feet of living space.  

Internet is present, however we are a rural location and the service is not high speed and has limitations.  Also, the roofing and ceiling materials are made of metal, depending on your cellular service provider this can effect the cellular service indoors.

Catlin is located 30 miles East of Champaign-Urbana and the University of Illinois, 95 miles from Indianapolis International Airport, 3 hours south of Chicago, and just 5 miles off of Interstate 74.   

In Catlin, we are located on North Westwood Street, which turns into 1225 East Rd, one mile north of Vermilion street.  You will drive through woods at the edge of town, at the TOP of the hill you will turn LEFT/south.   Bigg's barn drive will be on your right just past the orange tractor, the address is 14734 N 1225 East Rd in Catlin IL 61817.  There is ample parking at the site for multiple vehicles.
